What is Electrolysis?

Electrolysis is a permanent way of removing individual hairs from the face or body. Today's medical electrolysis devices destroy the growth center of the hair with chemical or heat energy. A very fine probe is inserted into the hair follicle at the surface of the skin. The hair is then removed with tweezers.

Whether your problem is unwanted hair on your lips, chin, and cheeks; unwanted hair on your arms and underarms; unwanted hair on your legs and thighs; unwanted hair on your breasts, abdomen, and back; electrolysis is the safe and permanent way to remove that unwanted hair.

Electrolysis can give you clear, hair-free skin in all these areas as well as a more attractive hairline and neckline.

Today, we live in an enlightened age. The taboos of the past have given way to the discoveries of science. Modern electrology is nothing less than the end result of one hundred years of study, experimentation, and RESULTS. It is the ideal alternative for modern men and women for whom unwanted hair is a real problem-- a real problem that can be solved.

Come and see Jean for all of your electrolysis needs!

"NOW"

It's time to feel better about yourself.

Why not call me now for a free consultation. In the meantime, I offer the following questions and answers for learning more about ELECTROLYSIS, the only permanent method of hair removal.

Q: How does electrolysis remove hair?

A: An extremely fine wire is used that slides into the natural opening of the hair follicle and treatment is applied. (I use pre-sterilized, disposable wires for health precautions.

Q: What method will be used?

A: There are three available methods: HIGH FREQUENCY (Thermolysis), GALVANIC (Electrolysis), and BLEND (Combination of the two). Depending on several factors, any or all of the above may be used. The BLEND, however, is the newest and most effective.

Q: Is electrolysis painful?

A: You can barely feel the wire being inserted. The treatment itself may cause a tingling sensation, but by adjusting several factors, your treatment can be made as comfortable as possible.

Q: Is electrolysis really permanent?

A: YES. Foremost medical authorities agree that electrolysis is the positive and PERMANENT way to remove hair. By all means, ask your doctor.

Q: What causes the growth of excessive hair?

A: Many factors influence the growth of excess hair. It can be traced to heredity or glandular disturbances such as puberty, pregnancy, or menopause. Some types of illnesses, operations, and medications may also be factors.

Q: Can't I just use depilatories to get rid of hair?

A: Yes, but this is only a temporary method. As with razors and tweezers, hair grows back within a few days. So, you're not helping yourself a bit. Depilatories also have an unpleasant odor, take time to use, and are a continuous expense. Also, they can cause fine hairs to grow deeper and become coarse and dark.

Q: Will there be regrowth after treatments?

A: Yes. Some regrowth is to be expected due to distorted hair follicles and the fact that all hair is not seen at any one time. However, by following your scheduled treatments, PERMANENT RESULTS WILL BE ACHIEVED!!
